New beginnings, court art then and now
I've been working in courtrooms for more than three decades, capturing some of the most notorious cases. It's a tricky business, sketching people on the move, with tons of obstacles between you and the subject. But I love it, and have enjoyed great success. Here you see a woman at the sentencing of former Guantanamo suspect Ahmed Ghailani, and one of the victims of his alleged crime reacting to the outcome of the trial.
